Holy Communion

First Communion is usually celebrated in August, for children in Year 3 and above.

First Communion was celebrated on Sunday 28 August 2022.

Children attending St Anthony’s School are prepared for their First Communion at the school.

Children not attending St Anthony’s School are prepared for their First Communion by our Sacramental Coordinator in weekly lessons outside school hours, for three or four weeks before the celebration of the Sacrament.

Holy Communion is brought to the sick and those unable to attend Mass by Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist, on Friday mornings (or at other times by arrangement). Please contact the parish to request a visit.
